Train like an everyday athlete.
Protean Thrive is the Everyday Athlete pathway. Strength remains the foundation, and training expands into power, speed, mobility, conditioning and movement variety.
Included in the Protean Method Membership, or $147 one-time with lifetime access.
Who Thrive is for
Thrive is for someone who enjoys training and wants to be strong, athletic, capable and resilient.
It is built around the idea of training for life, rather than simply doing more and harder training.
This is for you if
- You enjoy training and want more than strength alone
- You want to be strong, athletic, capable and resilient
- You want power, speed, mobility and conditioning in one plan
- You are training for life, not simply for more and harder sessions

How Thrive works
Protean Thrive is a 12-week Everyday Athlete program built around three primary training sessions per week, with optional conditioning, mobility and recovery work. Strength remains the foundation while the program expands into power, speed, cardiovascular fitness, movement variety and joint resilience. The training progresses across the 12 weeks to help you become stronger, more athletic and better prepared for the demands of life. Primary workouts take approximately 50 to 65 minutes.

Buy ThriveQuestions, answered
Is Thrive the right place for me to start?
If you are unsure, take the Protean Compass. It is free, takes only a few minutes and recommends your starting pathway.
What is the difference between joining the membership and buying Thrive on its own?
Membership gives you all four pathways, the Protean Community, the Member Library and everything added over time, for as long as your membership is active. Buying Thrive on its own gives you lifetime access to this one program.
What happens when I am ready to move on?
The next pathway is Protean Elite. Members already have access to it. If you bought Thrive on its own, you can join the membership or purchase Elite separately.
How long do I keep access?
A program bought on its own is yours for life. Membership access continues for as long as your membership is active.
What equipment do I need?
Protean Thrive uses kettlebells or dumbbells, resistance bands, a bench or box, and enough open space to perform athletic movements safely. A trap bar and barbell are used for certain exercises, but neither is required. A dual-kettlebell deadlift can replace the trap-bar deadlift. A heel-elevated dual-kettlebell or dual-dumbbell front squat can replace the heel-elevated Zercher squat. Any other equipment needs and appropriate substitutions will be identified within the program.
